Ah Kim is a Golden coin turtle who’s totally adored by the family. After plenty of debate, everyone agreed she should move to the UK. Because the family is living in two different places for now—and golden coin turtles are on the CITES list—the paperwork had to be absolutely perfect; one tiny mistake could have set us back months.

Thankfully, everything ran like clockwork. Ah Kim’s parents even took the train from Edinburgh all the way down to London to meet it at the station, then travelled home together with their little adventurer.

After their owner handled the export paperwork, she flew to the UK ahead of the move. From that point on, we managed everything across two time zones—shipping the tortoises’ crate, reserving their flight space, double-checking documents—yet the whole process stayed on track.

Ah Gui and Ah Guigui stayed with the family in Hong Kong until departure day. We kept that family updated and sent the owner regular reports, so she always knew what was happening even from 6,000 miles away. The result? Two happy tortoises landed in Britain safe and sound, ready to start their next chapter.

Bobby was one of our most beloved turtle cases. Since his owner had to travel to the UK in advance to handle school admission procedures and had no friends or relatives available to help, Bobby was entrusted to our care while waiting for his import permit.

He was shy at first, but gradually adapted and began to bond with our team. Bobby would even crawl onto the balcony and nudge us for pets — sometimes resting against our feet for a nap. It was a heartwarming connection.

When it was time for him to leave, everyone was reluctant to say goodbye. But knowing he arrived safely in the UK and now gets to enjoy strolls across green fields made it all worthwhile.

Meet Turtle Wong—aka “Missy” —our pampered red-eared slider. Her family treats her like royalty, so her shell is always shining. When she arrived to her home in the state, the owner rewarded her with fresh shrimp, while her two little dog “bodyguards” stuck close like VIP security.
In Hong Kong, red-eared sliders are everywhere, so it’s easy to assume moving them abroad is no big deal. Wrong! They’re classed as an invasive species, and only a handful of countries will take them. After weighing the options, Missy’s family chose the U.S.
That meant jumping through some tight hoops. We teamed up with a licensed U.S. agent to lock down the import permit and double-check every bit of paperwork. The agent then handled the final leg, getting Missy safely to her new home in sunny Arizona.

LupLup is a very energetic Hermann’s tortoise, constantly trying to push open the Lai Lai is an endlessly energetic Hermann’s tortoise who spends every spare second trying to shove the lid off his travel box. 
Each time he wriggled out, we popped him right back in—only for his four little legs to start paddling again. Before sealing the crate, we added an extra layer of tape to make sure this escape artist stayed put. The plan worked: LupLup touched down in Canada without a hitch and can now stretch those busy legs on outdoor jogs with his owner.

Leopard tortoises are CITES Appendix II species. We helped apply for the necessary permits, arranged their flight booking, and handled all export procedures. On departure day, we provided photo updates while checking them in, so the owner could travel with peace of mind.
